Will not use again, nor recommend, worst experience ever!:
My wife recently needed to have a tooth extraction done after breaking her tooth and losing the filling. It ended up being a pretty serious extraction, with lots of bone removed due to an infection under the tooth. After the procedure, the dentist mentioned that in all of the thousands of extractions he had ever done, that had been one of the worst. When we picked up her prescription, we noticed that it was a fairly low dosage, and that it was not going to be very effective against the pain. We called the office to ask about switching the dose of the prescription, and they reluctantly agreed, but only if we took the first prescription back to them. We did as they asked and returned the unused portion of her medication to the dentist's office, and received the more effective prescription, she was to take one pill every four to six hours for the pain.

Three days later we needed a refill on the pain medication, so we called the dentist. Unfortunately, the dentist closes early on Fridays and has no after-hours number. My wife was completely out of luck for pain relief for the entire weekend. She called first thing Monday, and they agreed to refill the prescription, and she also asked to be seen again as she did not feel that a normal recovery should be causing her such extreme pain and discomfort. She was seen the next day (exactly one week after), and was told she was suffering from partial dry socket, and that all of that pain was because of the exposed bone and nerves from such a traumatic extraction. The dentist told her she would be in discomfort for another week or two, and that she would probably need painkillers for at least another week. She asked if she should just call when she needed one, and he assured that would be fine, just let them know. A few days later (eleven days after the extraction), she called the office and let them know that she still had some medication left, but she wanted to know about a refill being available over the weekend, so she did not have to suffer discomfort if she ran out. She also asked about severe pain and a swollen lymph node under her jaw. She was given a vague answer about the dentist being in a different office that day, but told that he would return her call.

About fifteen minutes later, she received a call from the other office. She was told that she would not be issued another refill, and that she had been taking too many painkillers, essentially lethal doses. They told her that it had only been a week since her procedure, and that she just needed to use some ibuprofen. She told them that it had been a week and a half, and she had been taking the medication as prescribed. She told them that she was suffering from dry-socket, and that the dentist himself had told her she would need pain relief and to just phone in if she needed a prescription. They said they were not going to do anything more for her.

She took around fifty pills, over an eleven day span, basically 5-6 pills a day. Exactly as prescribed. For a procedure described "as one of the worst I've ever seen", "we had to take a lot of bone", and "very serious dental trauma", by the dentist himself. With the way she's being treated, they make her feel as though she is some kind of drug-abuser, bottom line she's being denied pain relief!!

Overall the WORST experience with any dentist EVER!!!
