Denver Integrated Imaging

I'm currently very upset with them. I scheduled an appointment with them in September and then, cancelled after I learned of the cost. They called me back and said that my insurance would cover all of the cost other than a $40 co-pay. So, I scheduled another appointment. I then, called my insurance company ( United Health Care) who informed me that that they would NOT cover the costs. I called Denver Integrated Imaging back and cancelled for a second time. They called me back and left a message (which is recorded) and ssured me that the insurance company did not understand which billing codes they used and that my bill would be absolutle not be for more than my co-pay.
So, I kept the second cancelled appointment. (BTW - the actual MRI experience was pleasent and the people very nice)
Now, November, as you can guess, the story is very different, They are trying to collect hundreds of dollars from me and deny ever telling me that it would be not to be more than my co-pay. (Good thing that I kept the voice message they left).
I have a final call into their office this morning, I will repost when I hear back from them.

11/23/10 - Well, it took a couple of more days. But, Thanks to Jennifer, They did the right thing by me - They agreed to write off the monies they claimed that I owed. After some frustration - way to go! They did the right thing!
