Creepy Owner:
I agree with the comment on August 4th. Nothing has changed up there. I went up last year and was appalled at the owner. He is rude, creepy and just plain mean. I wouldnt buy a presta valve adapter from this guy. Its unfourtunate because the mechanics are pretty good guys. He ruins the place. He has no business selling bikes. He should be picking up trash along the freeway as a public service for his rotten attitude. Biking is fun and exciting. Not mean and creepy.

My business apperantly was not wanted or needed:
I went in to Derby bicycles in Northglenn today and had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life.
I was greeted by a man who I later found out to be the owner. After pawning me off to a mechanic, who was helpful, I needed to ask a few more questions.
The owner was vacuuming the floor and I approached him, after he turned the vacuum off. Asking him about a frame size. My question must have annoyed him because before I finished speaking he had walked away to put the vacuum away. When he returned I finished my question. He answered obviously annoyed at my presence. Then walked away again while I was asking another question.
I returned home to check their website and found an open letter from the owner of the shop. Thanking everyone that bought a bike from him. With service like he offered me I'm suprised that anyone buys from him at all. I don't recomend this bike shop!
The fact that they claim the best bike shop in the Denver area is laughable.
I went to Turnin bikes after and found them much more helpful.
