I had been putting off repairs to my HP laptop for months but things slowly got worse; most importantly, I could not download my required MS updates nor could I run Systems Restore.
Googled for someone local; found A. Detor in Eastwood. Found him also on Angie's List.
Sent email with list of problems and Alan called me within few hours. Made arrangements to deliver laptop with a third-party.
Everything went most expeditiously and at a fair price. Alan explained the whats and whys of the repairs without a lot of technobabble.
I LOVE working on my cleaned-up laptop and would use DeTor's services in the future with no reservations. Highly recommend.

long story short: I got locked out of my own computer by unscrupulous character(s) last summer. I looked up local help and based on the excellent reviews I called Allen D. All is well ever since. It's a pleasure doing business with him and he has been able to resolve all my issues and keeps my pc working remotely and when I need to bring it in for service. I bought an inexpensive pc this last time, and now it's better than when it was new. I just can't keep up with my social life and my in-home business without a pc. This is very important ~ if you don't like the idea of sending your equipment away for service, let Allen work on the problem(s) remotely or in person. No more headaches. He has had a solution every time. I just haven't learned all the techie stuff and probably couldn't keep up with the changes anyways. Now, I don't worry about that.

My computer was infiltrated and consumed by more than 4K malware and/or viral demons(my name for these pesky interruptions). Al was very professional, personable, and careful to relay the information concerning my laptop in terms that made sense to me. He successfully removed the demons and I am finally using my laptop again after approximately 5 months.My laptop is fast and working like new! I am very happy with Detor's service and I recommend it to anyone that has a computer system that is affected by malware, adware, and virus demons!
