I wish I could give this company a huge ZERO amount of stars. The owner Mr. Tardiff came to my home to give me a second opinion on some previous work that was done by ANOTHER shotty repairman. We needed the second opinion for the bank. He came into my home and did an UNAUTHORIZED repair of my A/C unit and then charged me 89.00. He also left his tool bag and his equipment ATTACHED to my A/C unit for four days before coming to get his items. Two week later my A/C freezes up and floods my home. The system began to malfunction leaving myself, my children (including a newborn) in 88 degree heat INSIDE my home. I ended up calling another company to come out and fix what he had done. It cost me 220.00 plus repairs that I will have to make to my hardwood floor (400.00) and also 150.00 to clean the carpet and mold that has developed from the hot temperatures. (The system went out over the Labor Day Weekend). I contacted Mr.Tardiff and simply asked for my 89.00 back. Initially he agreed to give the money back but as the call went on he began to act very chauvinistic by calling me sweetheart and darling and demeaning me as if I knew nothing about A/C unit and how they work. I am very disappointed in this business and I have talked to various other neighbors who are having problems with this contractor. BEWARE especially if you are a woman or elderly - this business will do terrible unauthorized work on your home.
