Brendan Sodikoff replaces his short-lived deli, Dillman’s, with this River North Italian, offering a menu of raw starters, salads, antipasti and fresh pasta complemented by Boot-centric wines and classic cocktails including several variations of the Negroni. The low-lit, old-world setting features dark wood, exposed brick and leather-upholstered seating with an espresso bar and a seasonal patio.

Tonight, Chicago dining enthusiasts can taste Brendan Sodikoff's take on "boutique" Italian cuisine—at a deep discount. Sodikoff spread the word last night that he's unveiling Cocello, the reconcepted Dillman's, during a soft opening tonight through Thursday. All customers who come in during that period will receive 40 percent off their food purchases.
