The thin-crust pizza's "a cut above" at these Chelsea–Times Square Italians, home of coal-fired pies that are "heavy on the cheese but light on the price"; regulars straying from the slices "stick to the basics" on the "pretty good" Italian menu and opt for "outdoor seating" – there's "not much ambiance" inside.
Don Giovanni Ristorante Restaurant Review:
The atmosphere at this little place is so-so, but the price is right. With more than 20 varieties of brick-oven pizza and a wide selection of pastas, Don Giovanni is an excellent spot to sate your craving for Italian cuisine. Also located at 214 Tenth Ave., 212-242-9054.
Editorial Review:
Brick-oven pizza, pasta, heros and classic Italian entrees at reasonable prices in a casual setting.
