Doug’s Electric is a family owned business that was started in 1960 by Douglas W. Nugent who quickly became known as “Smiling Doug”, the business was built on honest, clean, quality installations and friendly service in the Onondaga County New York area. In 1992 the business was purchased by one of Smiling Doug’s sons, Douglas C. Nugent.

We had the service to our garage upgraded and repairs inside our house .We also had a light fixture replaced in the bathroom. Lets just say the wiring in our house was creative to say the least. Doug and his workers came in and made sense of it all. They were on time and very hard working, and I might add a pleasure to be around. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone. My husband and myself are very pleased with the work they did. They also cleaned up after themselves, you could hardly tell they were ever here. We would and will call them again.
