A "gay getaway" in River North, this "friendly" Downtowner occupies plenty of "real estate", proffering "more or less reasonable cocktails" in a low-lit, crisp-looking space; you might find "tourists" and "blaring music" on occasion, but it can be "fun" nonetheless.

With almost all gay-friendly hangouts concentrated on the North Side of the city, this friendly River North bar is the only one convenient to downtown condos and hotels, making it a draw for out-of-town visitors, Loop office workers, and high-rise dwellers. The look is low-key, as is the clientele -- except when the occasional cabaret performer adds a dose of drama.
