Avoid at all costs!!!:
Two weeks ago I was supposed to go for my sixth nerve block at NY Spine & Wellness. The materials they sent me in the mail said twice: “Be there 30 minutes before appointment!” You are required to have a driver for the procedure. I live in Manlius and my friend who was the driver lives in Fabius.
On this occasion my appointment was at Noon. She arrived to pick me up at five minutes before eleven o’clock. We head out. About five minutes later the phone rings and it’s the surgeon’s nurse saying: “Because you are so late we are cancelling your appointment and you will have to reschedule.” This is at five minutes after eleven. Fifty-five minutes before my appointment. It is a twenty minute drive to the clinic. How can I be late???
They rescheduled me for an appointment today. I arrived over an hour early. They did not have my appointment, my file, and were unprepared. They also had me scheduled for the nerve block in the wrong location!
How can I trust these people if they are having so many managerial problems. Why do I have to go months without the care I should be getting?! Why is the nurse putting in my IV with one glove on? Why are the nurses so busy talking about their ‘shower plans’ instead of attending to my care?
Please don’t do this to anyone else!!! It is bad medicine!!! I doubt I’m the only one who has had this unprofessional level of care. No endorsement here!!!

Wouldnt go back if I was forced to!:
I began going there after an accident in '08. Had a wonderful Dr and all was covered by comp. When I was no longer on comp it all spiraled downwards! They claimed that my whole WC settlement was supposed to go to my medical care. It took many months/phone calls as well as money before they would agree to bill my insurance. It wasn't just office visits it was my meds that had to be preauthorized, they simply refused saying I had to pay out of pocket. When I had ran out of pain meds in the past and my Dr was away, the nurses told me that my limbrel was a pain med, its an anti-inflammatory, leaving me with nothing for pain for over a week. When my doctor left the practice I was put with a PA, not a Dr. We did not see eye to eye as she kept lowering my pain med dosage so she had an easier time writing the script. When I asked her why she wasn't leaving me at the dose SHE prescribed her response was "this is the way it is." When I asked for an appt with a Dr after a year of this I was told I can only see a Dr if this PA requests it and she has to be present! I start telling about my dosage problem to the Dr and she interrupts and says even though I am on a small dosage of pain meds, I need extended release pain meds, FENTANYL! Did not give me any warnings about this (such as the other things I do for pain Hot tub, hot baths, electric heating pad) when I called and asked about these things, they said it was safe to wear! It would have killed me to do so! Took over a week to get preauthorization and when I complained about being in pain while waiting the nurse told me "pain wont kill you". Seriously? When I finally for the Fentanyl patch I had an allergic reaction and called them to see what to do. I waited an hour and when they didn't call back I removed the patch. When they hadn't called after 5 hours I called again and was spoken to so rudely I was almost in tears. My PA wasn't in that day so they never called me back. They told me to take a Benadryl I would be fine. I am now working with my GP to get me into a new pain center. This place not only is a joke for health care, the nurses are dangerous for lacking knowledge on patients meds. I have a pile of bills from them for services/tests that I never received. Handing this whole mess to my lawyer to handle. Run, don't walk away from this place, even if someone has to push your wheel chair!
