WOW !!! E&K was on-time, professional, polite, and very thorough in their work.They were very professional, pay great attention to details and ask if you would like them to focus on any specific task The supervisor stopped by to make sure everything was going well as well.They were very detailed and didn't leave a spot untouched. My floors, bathrooms, & entire place looked amazing.

A good friend of mine recommended E&K Cleaning Service to me and I couldn't be more pleased. She had been using them every other week for several years! I finally broke down and wanted to hire someone to completely clean for me because I'm horrible at it and I have family coming in town. E&K sent me two very nice maids Luba and Manuela both of which could speak and understand English which is a huge plus because we both had questions and there were no communication issues! The place looks absolutely fabulous I didn't know the bathroom could be that clean! They were here for about 2 hours and it was $108 which was totally worth it to us

I recieved terrible cleaning services on Saturday January 19th in Lombard. Around 8am the phone calls started saying that I told the maid we were scheduled for Tuesday when in fact I had not spoken to a maid. The office sorted out the confusion and the maid arrive right at 8:30am. We discussed what she should do including things like wiping the window sills and the blinds, bathrooms, kitchen and vaccuming. She was very insistent that she was only supposed to be there for 3 hours (even though I thought she'd be there until the job was done) but she seemed to think she could do it all in that amount of time. It is an apartment we are about to move into that was left very dirty and there was virtually no furniture in the apartment for her to worry about. I was there in the apartment with her for about a half hour before I left to run some errands. When I returned at 11:10am she was just standing there already done even though we had not hit the 3 hour mark yet. I looked around briefly and things looked OK and she said she wiped the blinds and the baseboards, so I paid her and she left. Then I went to use one of the bathrooms and I noticed the counter had a dirty smudge on it so I wiped it and then started looking around, the counter was dirty, the toilet was dirty, you could see a swirl of soap scum on the inside of the shower door where she wiped it but didn't actually remove any of the dirt. To my dismay the state of the other bathroom was the same if not worse. Blinds were only wiped down in the living room and not the bedrooms. Window sills were still filthy dirty. She didn't even clean for the full 3 hours! I should not have walked in and seen her just standing around when it was still so dirty! I spent an HOUR after she left recleaning both bathrooms. I would not move into this apartment in the state that it was in. This was the BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY ever. I complained to the company a few days later and they offered a reclean that same day which was not at all convenient since I was at work and don't live anywhere near the apartment I need cleaned. AND I already spent an hour of MY time recleaning the bathrooms which would have been half the job. When I suggested they refund all or part of my money the man said he'd have to get back to me. Two days later he called back and said the maid was there for 3 hours and 11 minutes (NOT TRUE!) and that she was confident she did a good job (of course she would tell her boss that) and that according to their policy they don't offer refund for services rendered. However, the service was a move in cleaning and the apartment was NOT left in move in condition. So therefor they didn't hold up their end of the bargin.
