I was sitting in the dentist chair. Sherif Hosney pretended he was starting a planned 90 minute procedure I'd been told to expect & I'd looked forward to thru 3 years (of dental hell).
The procedure entailed starting a series of week-long trials of a "mock up" of the upper arch. I would finally leave the clinic looking decent. {After 3 years of tx for whole mouth implants & after many 5-6 hour surgeries w/nothing but local anesthetic & after a series of inexplicable mistakes experienced dentists just wouldn't make}.
Hosney prepared me for the procedure I'd been falsely told so many times would happen at the next appointment & again on 1/27. Hosney took a temporary out of my mouth. Someone came to the door & signaled for the only other staff member in the room ("trust"- instilling "honest" Courtney Speers) to leave. Then Hosney placed the temporary back in my mouth, said we were done, & walked off-apparently never intending to do the procedure all along.
A 90 minute appointment over <15min. Since then Hosney, Speers, & others refused to explain why the procedure wasn't done (despite claiming patients have a right to ask questions about tx; apparently they don't feel obligated to answer (a Henry IV influence?).
In the gas lighting tradition, EIOH will try to portray me as crazy. Nope. Just not willing to keep quiet after being exploited.
I surmise that Hosney needed to complete requirements by a certain date to get his diploma. So, he used me & others as if we were sub-human . He realized the promised series of "mock-up" trials risked his required final upper arch arriving too late to meet requirements. Nothing was more important to him, Ercoli, & Eliav than to make sure he could check off "upper arch". So between 1/22 & 1/27 they arrived at a diabolical plan-never figuring on recordings.
I guess the plan was to make me think he was starting the procedure; then get Speers out of the room; then Hosney would tell, me, "we're done" as he walked out of the room. Unethical exploitive ploy by Hosney & EIOH. Hello Tuskegee!
Sound crazy? Don't gas-light! I'm not. I''m apparently "exacting". Given Hosney's unethical conduct at the start of his career, it's scary to think about what he may be capable of later on. Learned well from Eliav?
Eli Eliav claimed (in writing & verbally) all practitioners were experienced dentists who do or could have practices of their own (meaning licensed cause unlicensed practice is illegal). I couldn't understand how dental work & communication by experienced dentists was so poor.
At U of Rochester they say patients have a right to ask questions about their own treatment. I guess they mean you can ask but they won't answer (a Henry IV influence? ).They've steadfastly refused to answer my questions.
Foreign trained dentists wanting an independent practice in NY can choose:
1) starting dentistry school as a 2nd year student, OR
2) completing a "residency" program for 2 or more yrs.
That's who is PRACTICING on you at EIOH. NY State deems them to be sub par & not licensable. Eliav lied. So did Ercoli, Hosney et al., (2020). The public needs to be protected from Eliav lies & those of the staff.
EIOH capitalizes on the fact most people don't know about dentistry training & assume it's like medicine. It isn't. Unlike medicine, where residents have typically completed medical school (after 1st year, usually licensed), foreign trained dental practitioners are not license-eligible. The residency is INSTEAD of 2 years of remedial education. No, they are not "experienced dentists".
If you want to experience exploitation in the dishonorable tradition of Tuskegee, Milgram, Willowbrook & etc, U of R may be a great destination for you.
If I were to talk to EIOH, I'd ask if it's still worth covering up the truth.
