The "straightforward" "Cali-Mex" grub (with standout green-corn tamales) is either "decent" or "delicious" "depending on how many margaritas you drink" at these chain link offshoots of the 1923 LA original; although some suggest it's "living on its long history", the costumed servers are "pleasant" and, on the whole, "it just oozes fun."
