Eli Whitney Elementary School

Eli Whitney was best known for inventing the cotton gin in 1793. The Enfield school bearing his name is literally situated in the geographic center of town, adjacent to the Enfield Central Library. The top notch teaching staff includes several recipients of the "Enfield Teacher of the Year" award. Tim Van Tasel is the current school principal.
