The former owner of 10 years recently passed away and the shop has been taken over by his older (and definitly friendlyer) brother. I do not treat customers and non-customers poorly. I will answer questions on the phone and in person. Call me, drop by with you lamp if you want me to check it out (naturally no charge). I will do lamp and lighting repairs, give advice if I can, sell parts, glass and fabric shades and be the kind of lamp shop that a well run lamp shop should be.

This store has the potential to provide customer service. My nine month pregnant wife called to seek some part for a light fixture. He asked her to bring the old part in to the store. My wife told him that she had attempted to seek the part at many shops over the last few days but without any luck. She asked the owner if she could describe the part over the phone, he replied "I'm not interested". The owner refused to advise her over the phone and hung up on her. When she called back to ask for the man’s name after being so rude, he refused to give it to her and hung up again. Based on its current customer service practices, they pale's in comparison to that which you could get from luminary figures such as Usama Ben Laden, Adolf Hitler , Pol Pot to name but a few. I urge any potential customer to boycott this outfit and report them to the better business bureau. They deserve a negative rating.
