Enterprise has picked up our Family/Friends' loyalty--for many years. However, recent Enterprise policy on the use of bank/debit cards for ONLY those clients who rent vehicles at airport branches is puzzling and/or violative.
For example, our own primary state constitution is clear against unequal treatment on the basis of any association or the lack of association. Enterprise rental has begun to prejudice its treatment of renters at airport branches. Enterprise airport rentals are being refused to prospective renters who use bank/debit cards. Enterprise is accepting only credit cards [regardless whether bank-based or NONbank-based] at airport branches.
Enterprise signage does NOT indicate changes in Federal or State laws and, thus, perplexity reigns.
We applaud Enterprise, in advance, for conscientious scrutiny of the Enterprise change of policy. Honesty of an Enterprise review can ensure joyrides of equal courtesy on and off the road.
