Elderly and Disabled Portal to Hell:
I ended up getting cold called by what I'm assuming to be a property manager, by the name of Joel Stavsky, who then used his sales shark tactics to take advantage of a daughter, living with bipolar disorder, desperate to find her mother a safe place to live.
I had contacted aplaceformom.com for assistance, but my mother was still in ICU and the reason I had called was because my mother would not agree to go into an assisted living facility. This turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life.
If my mother was a nice person & could, or even cared to take care of herself, didn't have 5 chronic illnesses, didn't smoke like a chimney, didn't feed her dog donuts, wasn't a fall risk, and was not low income, moving her to this location may have been a good thing. However, to rush a sale to an 81 year old woman who could barely walk through the hallway without sitting down due to her illnesses, plus fully disclosing that I am on disability, living with bipolar disorder, is bad business and proof that Joel Stavsky was just trying to lock in another human being into a lease with additional dollar signs in his head, considering me another prospect for a sale.
My mother was not even in this place for 2 weeks before going back to the hospital again. Joel Stavsky obsessively contacted & left voicemail messages in a panic as he was under the impression that I was her legal guardian. I made it crystal clear that I am her Healthcare Power of Attorney only. He has contacted Adult Services and now I am being harassed by her and I am currently back in therapy and on more medication to calm my mania due to the unfolding of this nightmare that Joel is a huge part of.
The place itself is pretty nice. It's secluded, the inside is very pretty and it seems like a great place to live, if you are not completely disabled or half dead. Although my mother is the root of the problem, Joel assisted her at making a terrible decision.
So, my mother is a witch and Joel is a Demon. May they both live happily ever after in this Cocoon Pergatory, Gateway to Hell establishment.
