Dont Use This Company-Be wary!!!:
Stay away!!!! This owner, Valmir, comes with a smile, sounds kind and innocent, then when begins the project, takes your deposit, then the games begin. He starts out well, then 50 percent in the project, stalls the work by not showing up, avoiding your calls an emails, now your subject to his whimsical way of doing business because your house is in disarray due to his ripping and gutting your home..
Then he uses all types of medical stories claiming cancer and dental work needed during the course of your project but the reality is , he has taken other jobs and begins work on the new projects , while your left with an unfinished product.
My contract was close to 30,000 and my new floors were damaged by his work and workmanship, whereby the floors buckled, the floor stain was damaged by negligence by him and his men, leaving me with scratches, defective polyurethane coating, unfinished bathroom tiles and grout, leaving tiles improperly grouted, undone or using different colors of grout, claiming it has to dry to match, when in fact he lies.
He forces you to give cash instead of checks to avoid paying taxes and forces you to abide otherwise then your stuck with a house in total chaos.
He has over ordered tiles, coasting me hundreds of dollars in overruns, blames everyone except himself for these grave errors, and this has occurred on 3/4 of the orders needed.
HE begins to become cocky and avoids all your calls, believing that he has the upper hand.
He has lost tiles on me, costing me to reorder items, and has broken many items within my supply line.
He promised the renovation of 2 bathrooms plus custom molding and installation of flooring in 2 bedrooms plus resanding one large areas. He promised 2 to three weeks beginning on May 28. The result was that I moved in on Aug 3, 2 months later than the anticipated 2 to 3 weeks.
In a bathroom renovation, I purchased all new supplies which is customary in a complete bathroom renovation. He hung up the old bathroom fixture, claiming he didn't know I ordered the new lights. He installed my high kitchen sink faucet in my small bathroom, claiming he didn't know.
Now he was to come back and finish the work in the bathroom because I had to wait for the custom glass, and as of today he has made me miss work , no calls, no texts about running late or not coming, losing a day of work.
He issues me an insurance certificate since I requested this, and now I noticed that the insurance is issued to RPA Hardwood at a different address of 21 Oakstreet in Long Branch yet his invoice states and his web address claims 94 Westwood Ave, under Euro floors.
Watch out, you will go through the same as I did. Stay away, use a professional organization with proper insurance, even if it means paying more.
Im taking him to court next week and calling the IRS for a complete investigation on him.
