Jose's Events & Adventures Review:
When my fiancé passed away two years ago, the last thing I ever wanted to do was well, live again. I didn’t want to think of anyone else, I couldn’t imagine living a life with any degree of happiness without her and I didn’t think I would ever get to a point that it wouldn’t feel as I was betraying her. I read an Events and Adventures review and saw that most people went into it with an open mind and with the goal of not only meeting people to date, but meeting new friends. I’ll admit I had no interest in falling in love again, but I had gotten far enough along in my grief that I really wanted to meet new friends if for no other reason than to occupy my time. New friends who didn’t look at me with pity and who didn’t feel as though they had to walk on eggshells around me sounded like something that would be good for me. So with that thought in mind, I called the Events and Adventures office closest to me. A week later, and after changing my mind a dozen times, I told myself I was going to go to the Events & Adventures dinner I’d signed up for. I’d be lying if I said I jumped in and that I no longer have bad days – I do. But I have met a lot of wonderful people – and by giving myself permission to take a step at a time, I’ve been able to really enjoy many of the planned outings the Events and Adventures company offers. It’s a slow dance most days, but I can truly say I look forward to those weekends and evenings when I can get outside my own comfort zone and begin to pick up the pieces.

Heidi's Events & Adventures Review of Belize:
" If you’ve never been to Belize, do yourselves a favor and GO! I went with Events & Adventures as part of a group vacation. If you’re single, this is the way to see the world. The Events & Adventures staff was remarkable and the events they planned were amazing – a once in a lifetime experience. I don’t know how I can even begin to relay the excitement, the flavors, the colors, the scents in a single Events & Adventures review! The hospitality we received at the Duploys Lodge was top-notch, not to mention the food – I’ll be on the treadmill for weeks. The accommodations were clean and well kept and all the staff members at the hotel were incredibly nice and so happy to help all of us. Seriously, this was probably the best investment I’ve made next to my retirement.
The roads, while they were bumpy, still provided a lot of opportunities to see…well, peculiar bugs and animals. All part of the Belize experience and I wouldn’t have traded a single moment of it. If you’re not familiar with Events & Adventures, review their website. It’s a rare company in that it hosts a ton of events every month for singles in different regions of the country. It’s a great team to be a part of. I’m sure I’ll be seeing less of the staff and other members, since I’m getting married, but this is something I’d recommend to anyone. I can also say with certainty that I never would’ve met my fiancé had I not given Events & Adventures a chance. I credit the magic to the culture and scents of Belize!"
