They will rape you of your life savings and continue to bill you long after you die. They raise the rates every year by 6%, the max allowed by law, yet they charge you for EVERYTHING including changing a light bulb. My dad paid 160,000 entrance fee, 5200.00 monthly and got 1 meal a day. If he needed a ride to the doctor it was a charge. The medical was taken out of his medicare and supplemental and he still got bills from the Evergreen doctor. When he passed away we were given 30 days to get out! Then they turn around and bill us 5200.00! Even though the contract states it is terminated upon death. The residents are afraid to complain because at any given time, they may be declared incompetent and put in a small single room and forgotten about. For a religious organization, I have to say that they are not very charitable. Their wallets will get fatter and your will get flatter. Be careful, don't make the same mistake that Dad made. Take a visit and walk up and down the halls and you will see more empty apartments then occupied ones. Why? Oh and by the way the food you get when you are on a pre sales tour is not the same stuff they feed their residents. All I can say is beware.
