Do not go here! Read and beware!:
I talked to the guy at this stand in the mall about an issue I had with my iPhone 3GS, described the part I need so I can fix it (i know how to repair cellphones, computers, and all handheld electronics. I didn't ask him for his assistance, all I wanted was a part so I could avoid waiting to order it online). Well I came back to show him exactly the part (on paper) that I needed. He said he doesn't have it now but he can figure out the problem himself, so he asked to LOOK at the phone. I pulled my phone out of my pocket to show him that the screen was half working and he grabbed it from my hands and tore it apart while it was still on WITHOUT asking permission or signing a waiver! After proceeding to do so, he snapped off all the cables for no reason but to show he can open an iPhone. Anyone with a #00 screwdriver and suction cup (which I had to point out under his unorganized mess of a desk) can open an iPhone.. it takes the "years of phone knowledge" he CLAIMED to have to know how to do it properly without damaging the internal components, plus a little common sense. After doing so he proceeded to harass 30 more people walking by as hes now struggling to put my phone back together, not plugging half the flex wires and cables back into the logic board. SURPRISE! My phone doesn't power on! "That's my problem!"

"Woah Woah, what just happened here?!" I told him to get my phone to turn on, then he gets in my face and calls me a "scammer" that i came to him with a broken phone and now trying to frame him for causing the problem? "I didn't fry your harddrive!"
"Who said anything about my harddrive? My problem was on half the screen while it was powered on.." now he cant turn it on or get itunes to recognize it being plugged in? he tears it open again and the logic board is hot "FEEL IT, FEEL IT!" he says as trying to act like I did something to it while it was in his hands the entire time.

After talking to him and trying to calm him down from his tense, intimidate in-your-face attitude, he tried fooling me into signing his liability waiver giving permission now to hand him my phone. I refused to sign and left my phone with him to return in 2 hours to pick up my $600 phone in the exact condition as when he snatched it from me. When I returned, he threw my old battery at me and said "you fried your battery, i gave you a new one and im not charging you dont worry!"

current status, my $600 iPhone 3GS has a battery that wont hold a charge and the screens backlight wont turn on, along with the problem i already had. Hoping the backlight will be fixed after i order my front screen assy. unit
