Not Licensed, Not Insured, and Dishonest About It !!!:
Family Fence has not been a licensed or insured business since 2009. I hired and fired Emil Oct. 2013 because he lied in his yellowpage ad and to my face about his license. He did no work, couldnt prove he bought materials and he refused to refund my $150 deposit. Use a Licensed contractor, save a headache !!
Dont you have any shame Emil? Get a license and insurance, or stop telling people you have it !!
Emil has NO general liability insurance and if one of his employees serious hurts himself on your property, you the homeowner can be liable. Liscensed contractors usually have a vibe of professionalism that Emil clearly does not possess !!
The pcvpf review below is probably from Emil, as he always counters my reviews and tries to get them removed.

Honest, Dependable, Quality Contractor!!!:
Hired Emil (owner) to replace fencing and retaining walls damaged after Hurricane Sandy. It was very difficult to get anybody after the storm, and many contractors raised their prices to take advantage of the situation. Emil was extremely reasonable, and completed the project on-time and did a quality job. We were very pleased.
I hired Emil again this summer to replace a large deck on my house and install a steel cable railing system to replace the worn wood vertical rails. As the project progressed we added to the scope of work. When the project was completed, Emil again was very reasonable and fair with his pricing and we are extremely satisfied with his work.
I would not hesitate to recommend Emil to anyone needing fencing, decks or related work...
