First United Methodist Church Of is located at 301 N Main St in Ada and has been in the business of Methodist Church since 1897.

In 1852, Reverend Samuel Hagerman from Huntersville organized an Ada Methodist "class" that met in the old schoolhouse at the corner of Main and Montford streets.
