Amazing School:
This is the third year my three kids have been at Flint. Every year we have had amazing teachers that have met all my kid’s needs. My oldest was years behind on his reading when we first came to the school and he is close to being on grade level now after just 3 years. Attending school here is like a big extended family where everyone is loved and taken care of. We attended another bigger private school before Flint and after being here I can’t imagine my kids being anywhere else.

Great Classical Education School:
I am a teacher at The Flint Academy, and have been there since it opened. The school is small enough to have small class sizes, a director who is very accessible to both teachers and parents, and so that all of the students know each other. However, it is also big enough to have a library, class gardens, a basketball team, a cheerleading team, great field trips, field day, exciting in-class events special events, and other student activities.

I live about 40 miles away from the school, and it is worth the drive to work there. My son is not old enough to attend the school yet, but I plan on enrolling him when he turns three. I want him to attend a school where he is held to high behavioral standards in a loving way, is taught until he masters the material, not just until he receives a 70% passing grade, is given time to participate in activities like cooking and gardening, and is taught to enjoy high quality literature.

Flint Academy is an exceptional school!:
The teachers provide a safe and positive learning environment where students can feel valued. They focus on the "whole" child, by accepting each child as an individual. My child enjoys the hands-on learning centers and loves coming to school each day to learn new things and be with her new friends.

Don't believe "Please Parents" review!!:
Let me start by saying that I was NEVER asked to leave, my son never missed 54 days of school, nor did he bite anyone, distrupt class daily or otherwise. Obviously there are reasons my son attended Flint, but there are much bigger ones that we left. We also have not been gone for 2 years either. The biggest is that my son was just not taught anything at Flint Academy. Therefore, his is now 2 and half years behind in math instead on a year when he started there. I am sorry that "Pleased Parent" has been taken in but you will find out in time that most of what you were told (per your post) is all lies. This school is not the best in the metroplex I would not recomend it to anyone. They also kept half a years tuitiom that I paid upfront with no contract signed when we left.

PS - If you are so pleased why are you not signing your letter???
