Description

Founding Farmers, the Greenest Restaurant in DC, is owned by the more than 40,000 family farmers of the NDFU, serving American inspired real food and drink with an emphasis and focus on cooking from scratch.

While our restaurant is supplied by hundreds of family farms everywhere, that doesn’t mean we know every farm, and that doesn’t mean we never have to buy product from the traditional...

Tips

Parking: Founding Farmers is a good place for street parking on the weekends. Spots are plentiful along Pennsylvania Ave. NW, both east and west of the restaurant. It's also a quick walk from the Foggy Bottom metro stop.

What to Drink: Most of Founding Farmers' cocktails and sodas come made-to-order: Try the house-made ginger ale or the bloody mary--it's got just enough spice and a perfect weekend drink.
