Did not show up and did not seem to care:
I contacted this company to install an antenna and digital converter. When I first spoke with them over the phone they seemed to be very helpful. I set up an appt for a specific time and even called and left a message on the morning of the appt. to verify on their answering service. The appt. time comes and goes, which originally the company stated they would be there between 10:00 and 10:30. I called them at 11:15 and the gentlemen seemed caught off guard as if he did not even know he had made an appt. The installer then said he was on his way into the office and he would be there in about 10 minutes and he would call me from there. Two and half hours go by and no call. He never showed, never called and really appeared that he didn't even care.During the hey-day of contractors getting all kind of work when the money was flush and homes were going up like crazy, maybe customers put up with that. Now that the economy is not so good, you would think businesses (especially smaller business) would work hard to meet commitments and do good work for customers so they would recommend them in the future for more business. It was very disappointing that I wasted an entire day waiting for a company rep to show up and they never bothered to call or follow up. No wonder the BBB has this company rated as an F. It does not appear that they are very concerned with customer service and during these tough economic times, it is companies that service the customer and go that extra mile that will survive. Companies that do not, will most likely go under. There is a saying in business - If you don't service the customer, someone else will
