My elderly Mother in Law had bed bugs brought into her house by a health care aid. My wife was beside herself. I called Freehold Pest Control and they handled a very difficult situation. The woman that I spoke to was excellent. The exterminator showed up on time and treated the house. Good company. Very well run.

(1) (Thomas Sanquini) On 06/19/12 I personally inspected the home you were purchasing at 2720 Shady Glen Avenue Point Pleasant, NJ 08742. I failed the house because i found termite activity in the wood debris in the crawl space and the house had never been treated. When I spoke to you at the house and gave you the findings and the price of $600.00 for the treatment you had no issue with me and paid me for the inspection. About a week later you made an appointment to have the house treated for termites and you asked me if I could do it cheaper because it was a short sale and you had to pay for it. I explained to you in detail that the cost of the chemicals per the chemical lable and labor was about $500.00 and again you had no issue and you made an appointment to do the treatment. The day of the treatment you called my office and said if we can't beat Turner Pest Control's price you were going with them and the Turner inspector said you don't need a treatment. If you didn't need a treatment then why did you give Turner Pest Control $300.00 for termite treatment? The chemical cost to treat your house exceeds $300.00 so Turner scammed you but cutting corners not me. Homes in NJ where termiticides are being applied there are formulas that have to be followed when treating for termites. Joe Kane Manager Freehold Pest Control Inc.

This is a tough year for squirrels and they got past the first block FPC put up. They came back out and repaired quickly with no questions asked. Very professional and easy to deal with, on the phone and in person.

Buyer beware. I used this company as part of my home inspection and they almost cost me over $5000 plus the sale of the home. Their report was incomplete, no one discussed it with either us, the seller of the home, or any of the real estate agents that were present. We came to find out that there was an active termite problem that needed to be taken care of and that damage which was repaired over 20 years ago and should not have been brought up would have negated the loan that we were working towards. Because they did not get back to us in a timely manner I had to pay for another company to come out and do the correct report and fix their mistakes.

To top it off, they refused to refund me $75 dollars for their incomplete service and would not let me speak with a manager. The woman who had called was trying to twist a previous conversation around to better suit them and was placing me on hold while she "spoke" with her manager. Every time I requested to speak with the manager myself I was denied.

Please learn from my mistakes and go with a more reputable company.
