Founded by Ernie K. Doe, the singer of the famed "Mother-in-Law," the Lounge has been a Doe family business since his widow, Antoinette, took over after his 2001 passing. Now daughter Betty Fox runs this Treme neighborhood bar, which is fronted by a huge painting of Antoinette and Ernie. Drinks are cheap and the jukebox is the best in town.
