worst customer service experience ever:
Wow. If it were possible to have given this place zero stars, I would have. I joined this site specifically so I could share with the world (or whatever small audience is reading this) how incredibly rude the lady running this store was to me today. Suffice it to say, I would not recommend shopping here ever, under any circumstances.

Detailed story:

I walk in at around noon, intending to look for accessories to go with a dress I'll be wearing to a wedding in a few weeks. I am "greeted" by an older woman, who asks if I'm familiar with her store. I tell her I am new to the area and have never been in before, and begin looking at earrings. She encourages me to try them on, so I do. They're beautiful, but I'm still looking around. As soon as I've put them down again she asks me "so you didn't like them?" I reply "Oh I loved them, I just need to think about them a bit -- they're a little more than I was hoping to spend."

She picks them up, looks at me, and says "They're *only* $28"

Wondering if I've misunderstood her meaning, thinking she couldn't possibly be that rude, I jokingly reply that I am a student, and quite poor, while continuing to browse.

At this point she informs me that the scarf I am admiring is $325, and grabs it out of my hands. Surprised and confused, I stand there dumbfounded as she folds the scarf and tells me I ought to try shopping across the street -- "They have things in the $10 range over there."

She tells me "I need to let you out now and make a phone call," and escorts me out of the store.

She literally kicked me out of the store! I totally would have bought those earrings, too. Guess it's her loss.
