This second-story watering hole with its year-round deck overlooking Connecticut Avenue attracts straights as well as gays, couples as well as singles. The decor is upscale and industrial, but the glass-and-metal look is softened by candlelight and loungey sofas. D.C. doesn't offer lesbians an awful lot of club choices, but Gazuza's a good one.

Gazuza is one of the city's hot spots. The interior of this hip bar is modern—mainly constructed with glass and metal—and although not too inviting, is still a major attraction for business interns, gay professionals, and people interested in networking with cocktails. A patio overlooking Connecticut Avenue adds ambiance to this joint. The apple martinis are particularly good.
