; George Yaghi was born in Lebanon and started working with local tailors when he was 9. He trained in Paris, then Italy. On his cutting table is a giant pair of silver-colored scissors; their heft allows him to evenly cut the fabric. "These are 120 years old; they went from grandfather to father to son to me," he says. "The tailor who trained who trained me in Paris gave them to me."
