Never ever get near the store:
The Global Air Comm (GAC) store is a DISHONEST, UNTRUSTWORTHY and a BIG FAT LIAR all the times. I heard the advertisement 2 yrs ago about the store and it sounded so "good" so my family went there to give them a try. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disaster. It was our first time to open a family plan from AT&T so we didn't know which phone was subjected to be free and we had no idea which phone was a good one. The store used our name (UNAUTHORIZED) to order 3 expensive phones behind our back and they sell them to other people while giving us 3 cheaper phones with bad reception. They lied to us that those are the good phones and claimed they've given us a good deal that we "only" had to pay $36 for each phone though the phones were actually supposed to be FREE. They also talked us into buying insurance for the 3 cheap phones that we received. In fact, behind our back they called AT&T using our name and our insurance to claim that they lost 6 different expensive phones so they could get them for FREE while we had to pay the insurance fees. Until my mom actually lost her phone, she called in the insurance company to file a lost phone. They then ask which phone was she having and she found out that the phone registered for insurance was much more expensive than the phone she was having, and that we could no longer receive any replacement since "we" have already filed 6 lost phones (which were actually done by Global Air Comm store). We were very upset about that and had to cancel our insurance immediately. Sigh** I couldn't believe they would do such things like that to their customers. My best advice to you guys is try to go to the real carrier/plan retailers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon or Sprint) or try to call their customer service # to open a plan. DO NOT go to GAC because they will take advantage of you at all cost.
