Gloreen "Glo" Ranieri has been serving Seattle diner chow since 1987, and she still pours the coffee on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

It's a long hunt for parking and often easier to spring for a lot. Go a few blocks off Olive Way and you should find a space.

"Downright good" American "diner" fare at reasonable prices draws fans to this "classic breakfast joint" in Capitol Hill; the space is nothing fancy, but barflies appreciate the late weekend hours ("you can't beat a 3 AM omelet" here) and morning-after patrons willingly endure "long waits" for the some of the "best Benedicts in the city."
