Plastic Containers #1 thru #7 All Hard Plastics including nursery pots, yogurt containers and toys are recyclable. NO Styrofoam, NO film. Metal ContainersAll steel, tin and aluminum food & beverage containers (Empty & clean, labels & lids OK). Aluminum foil. CardboardBoxes flattened. Paper bags, egg cartons, cereal type boxes (remove inserts). MagazinesAll are OK including catalogs. Paper/Junk MailAll types and colors of mixed paper. All junk mail including envelopes. (White bins must bag shredded paper.) ABOP (Antifreeze, Batteries, Oil and Paint) recycling:Auto batteries (limit 2) Boat and household batteries Antifreeze Motor oil (limit 20 gallons in 5-galloncontainers) Latex paint (limit 10 gallons) E-waste recycling:Computer and computer monitors Televisions Printers Cell phones Consoles and big screen TVs Fax machines VCRs Small kitchen appliances Fluorescent and high intensity lamps What We Do Not Accept Hazardous Waste, Medical Waste, Oily Waste, Solvents, Solid Waste, Chemical Toilet Waste, Radioactive Waste, Dead Animals, Pesticides.

Diversion is the first priority at Gold Coast, with all possible materials sorted to assure that as much tonnage as possible is extracted before the materials are compacted and transferred to a landfill. Diversion takes precedence above all else.
