Goldberg tried to steal $3000 from me by forging a check I sent to them i.e. someone at Goldberg Realty turned my check for one thousand and fifty dollars into four thousand and fifty dollars by changing the one I wrote on the check into a four. .The company is now trying to say it has no record of receiving the check, but Wells Fargo (my bank) processed the check and was prepared to take the money from my account, clearly showing that Goldberg had it and tried to cash it. Luckily I was able to stop the check before they took the money. Wells Fargo agrees that it was fraud. I would be happy to send photographic evidence that the check to Goldberg was forged and that Wells Fargo processed it to anyone who requests it.

Goldberg also tried to steal an additional $500 from me by inventing a $500 pet fee after I moved out that was never disclosed to me previously. They also charged me a ridiculous amount ($150) for cleaning my apartment that was 90% clean. They withdrew the pet fee and lowered the cleaning fee only after I started posting negative reviews of them on social media. They are crooks and thieves. Stay away!

Lived in Frenchtown Commons 15 YEARS. Have housing and kept my apt nice but was late on my rent. CONSTANT harassment. Every month they tacked on another $50 late charge despite several letters. Extremely little work done during the whole time. Left my apt with carpeting that was 20 years old. Failed inspection as Hunterdon kept pushing it thru. Charged $1000+ in late fees that are unlawful, NOW, won't give me my security deposit back. Just like to screw with people. I'm 61 and disabled. Cleaned the apt and gave back all the keys. Over the years if I needed something (there were 3 property managers) I fixed it myself. There were all kinds of problems with the people they allowed in there. Severely Developmentally Disabled people not really capable of living in a apt of their own were my neighbors. In 15 years I dealt with growling like a bear, my neighbors 5 year old boy child was "touched", public jerking off so that his windows needed to be frosted (he just opened the windows) and I could name any number of things I assume because it's deep in the country and there's little work around. Both Simona and a woman named Jessica started screwing around with the unlawful charges 2 years ago. Recently they have spent many thousands of dollars of improvements and they are still screwing around with my security deposit that I calculated 3 weeks ago. Apt was being renovated the day after I moved out but they can't part with $700 I truly am owed.
