They ruined my daughters abercrombie coat-they don't care about the customer-rude!!!:
I took my daughters brown Abercrombie coat in to get a new Zipper on Oct 27 and I was told it would be done Nov 6. I went in on the 6th and was told the person doing alterations (they send out) still hadnt returned it. I called numerous times and stopped in to check on the status and the manager Jo Ann Landry never called me back. Finally on Nov 12th, I was told it would be in on the 13th. Went in on the 13th to get it and was told that they even repaired the snap at the top of the coat for me. When I got it home, I looked at it and they had cut out a 3x3 inch square of material at the top of the coat and replaced it with olive green material (like I said the coat is brown). I went back to the cleaners and asked to talk to the manager. I was told she was busy. I said I wanted to talk to her. The lady said, "if you must." Jo Ann was in the back of the store and refused to come up but told the lady who waited on me to have me leave the coat and she would send it back, My daughter needed the coat for the weekend and since the alterer wouldnt be back till Monday I said I would bring it back Monday the 16th. I took it back on Monday the 16th and stressed that I needed that coat for that Friday and if she could not get it back by Thursday, I didnt want the coat to leave the store. I was assured by Jo Ann that she would not let it if it could not be guaranteed back by then. I called and left a message for Jo Ann Tuesday and Wednesday to please call me with the status and she did not return my calls. I went in there Friday morning at 9:00 am and Jo Ann told me the coat was not there and was not returned yet but she called the alterer numerous times and told her she needed the coat. I told her we were leaving for out of town at 1:00 pm and I wanted the coat by then. I went in there at 12:30 and the coat still was not returned. Jo Ann went on and on about customer service and how important that was for her and I would be getting a full refund and gift certificates for my inconvenience and how angry she was because she looked bad. She gave me the alterers number and told me to call her. I called the alterer and left her a message. She called me back within 5 minutes and stated she was so sorry and was not told by Jo Ann that I needed the coat back by certain time. She stated she still had not repaired the coat as she is trying to find fabric to match the coat. She stated she would meet me anywhere I wanted to give me the coat to use. Informed her we were already on the road to Madison and she should just drop it off at the cleaners. She agreed and also said I would be getting a refund for all my troubles. I went there on Saturday night to get the coat and some teen with piercings coming out of all parts of her face waited on me. I told her I was there to get my coat and refund. She went to the phone to call Jo Ann. She then told me the coat was not there and that they would not be the one to give me a refund. I told her I spoke to the alterer the day before who told me she was on her way to drop it off. The kid said over and over "what you dont believe me" or "you think I am lying." She said you can talk to the manager. I told her to get the manager on the phone. She mumbled some swears under her breath and said "if I have to" and went to call Jo Ann again. She started the conversation with the manager "this lady wants to talk to you because she thinks I am lying". After continuing on and on about not believing her, she handed me the phone. First I commented to Jo Ann about how rude her staff is and she replied "that's my fault because I was on a ladder and didnt want to come down to talk to you." She stated the coat was not there and that I should call the alterer again myself and that also the alterer would be the one giving me the refund. I left the store and called the alterer and had to leave a message. The alterer returned my call within 5 minutes again and stated she just found the exact match for the coat and could fix it and have it to me by tommorrow (Sunday). Told her I would pick it up on Monday. She called me Monday and said she would drop it off at my home. She dropped it off on Monday night and she did do a fantastic job. You actually could not tell anything was done to it. Then she gave me a check for $20.47. I told her I paid $40.46. She said she was only refunding for her portion of the work and that the rest was Jo ann's charge for the dry cleaning. I went to the cleaners on Tuesday and spoke to Joanne. I told her she had said I was getting a full refund and the alterer only gave me half. Jo Ann stated she was refunding me for her services. I told her I thought that she said customer service what was important to her (her words) and she said she did nothing wrong. I reminded her how rude her staff was, how many calls she never returned (which she denied) and the inconvenience I went through at her store. She stated she was having a meeting with her owner next week and would talk to them but that she was not going to give me a refund. (mind you raising her voice the whole time and there were other customers in the store.) Then she got this cocky voice and kept repeating "bye bye, Have a good thanksgiving, God Bless You," over and over till I left the store. I found out the owner was Tony Foss from the Foss Group who owns quite a few things including a mortgage company. I left him a message letting him know what happened, but gee, am I surprised, I didnt get a call back. And as a side note, the staff smoke in the store too. I was taken into the office to get the alterers number and there was ashtrays in there with ciggarette butts.

Do not go here!!!!:
I had my wedding dress "cleaned" and "preserved" and it looked awful. The dress was sliding all over the box (which in and of itself was hideous). I was so unhappy, I opened the box to inspect the condition of my dress, and THERE WERE BLUE SPOTS ALL OVER IT!!!! You can imagine how disheartening this experience is. It is my WEDDING DRESS. Whats worse is they refuse to offer me a refund, but promise to do it over and do a better job. Right, like I'm going to send it BACK to them!! I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Please don't go here!!
