Muted lights, undulating wall hangings, and capacious dining area simulate a gentle underwater experience at this frequent “Best Seafood in Boston” winner. The smoked rainbow trout, roasted monkfish and olive oil-poached halibut defy seafood stereotypes. Metropolitan mermaids and not-so-ancient mariners float through the Island Bar and adjacent lounge for chilled oysters and halibut tacos.
