Tips

One of Seattle’s best Vietnamese restaurants has another location. You can find the newest Green Leaf in the 1940s era Labor Temple not far from the Sculpture Park. But there is something new inside: a full bar — something the original I.D. location lacks. What both spots have in abundance is amazing food (bahn xeo, green papaya salad, beef la lot) at basement prices. Ironically, that’s exactly where the new Green Leaf is located: in the basement that formerly housed Mira Restaurant & Lounge and Vela Pizzeria & Lounge, which makes us wonder if boozing it up downstairs is part of the lease...
