Dark, moody and full of conversation-ready corners, the Griffin is easily one of the best bars in Vegas and definitely the epitome of the Downtown area's revival. Full of leather-clad lounging spots, candle-lit nooks, and fireplaces, and equipped with friendly and easygoing bartenders, this watering hole is the perfect little joint for a smart cocktail, a provocative date and more. Tips

This Portland girl felt very at home in this hip but quaint downtown dive bar. Can't beat the fireplaces and jukebox, plus it's got a nice mellow vibe that's refreshing after elbowing your way through the Fremont Street melee.

The Extras:
Located in the Fremont East district, The Griffin is within walking distance of several other downtown bars. Make a night of it and barhop downtown.

Just what you want in a stylish bar that revels in its history but at the same time doesn't try too hard. Given its...

Swanky downtown lounge attracts hipsters searching for a low-key night on the town.:
In Short
The Griffin has the feeling of being inside a wine barrel. Well, at least that's what we imagine. It's dark and dungeon-like with weathered arched wood and exposed brick work....
