Dr. Gruda may be a good surgeon but if you want a vet who cares and has any compassion at all don't go there.The surgery was successful but the recovery there was heartless and weird and showed me they could care less about the pet or the owner. My cat shattered his leg in about three places and his recovery was to stick him in a steel cage for eight weeks with no medication. I knew my cat was suffering so I brought him home and got him out of there. His main concern was that I paid the money.
And god forbid don't ask any questions or they will make you wrong and then act like they are just too important to care. It was rude over there with the doctors that I met. I was the one that told them to take the splint off because it was hurting my cat and when they did my cat's leg was rubbed raw so of coarse I was concerned but their remark was "don't worry, that's normal". (b@!%!**t) They then judged my cat because he meowed too much. I emailed Gruda from home with a concern but no one over there even had enough concern to call and find out. I had to go to another vet to get help.
