first pregnancy and disappointed in service:
As a first time pregnant woman, I was expecting some sort of information to be given to me about how to have a healthy pregnancy and the do's and don'ts of pregnancy. They offered me NOTHING! I called ahead to make sure how much this appointment would cost me. was told $265.65 three times. When we arrived WHAM! we are hit with a bill for $350. It wouldn't have been an issue if that was what I was originally told, but again I asked multiple times and received a much lower amount. Then they did not do everything they should of done for the appointment that I paid extra for. No blood work was performed! Now if I pay for a service I expect to get it. As a first time mother, I was full of questions. Not only did the doctor here tell me that any over the counter meds are safe... a fact that I know is definitely not true! but the whole appointment felt really really rushed. Now I understand being busy, but you need to make sure that when you have women who are going to be first time moms, that you give them your time and attention to address all of their concerns. I also felt as though they treated me like I was ignorant. Now I may look 20 but I am an almost 30 year old woman. When I say or ask something, I expect them to listen to and actually answer me instead of try to dumb down something that has absolutely anything about what I am asking. As stated before, they gave me absolutely no material about what to expect in my pregnancy, what I can and can not do, and what is safe and not safe. so disappointing. I will say that the ultrasound tech was extremely pleasant and informative. She made sure I knew what was going on, what to look for, and if I had any questions she answered them promptly. That was the best part of my visit here. Te rest of the visit was a bit underwhelming and disappointing.
