I've been bringing my dogs to Happy Trails for years. I think I was referred by a neighbor. I bring them for baths and grooming and boarding. They are always there in the summer and at Christmas. The staff is always nice to me and my dogs always seem happy and well exercised when I pick them up, although lately I have to ask for a bath because they get a little muddy from the play yards. Happy Trails has sort of clean, cozy, down home country feel, despite the "luxury" in the name. It's a great place if you have a whole family of dogs because sometimes they'll cut you a special deal if you ask nicely. Also, my vet's across the street, so it's awesome!

DO NOT board your dog at this facility!! MY dog DIED HERE!!! They did not inform me of any problems until my dog was already DEAD!! PLEASE do not take your pets here!!!

We boarded our black lab here, they lost him, we were 5 hours away. They lied and told us he jumped the fence and lied about their efforts to find him. It is impossible for our senior, 100+ lb lab to jump a 8 ft fence. We have since learned that they lost 3 previous dogs who were shot dead by a neighbor goat farmer. Our friends helped find our dog and thankfully he is home safe. Please don't take your dog to this place, they cannot keep them safe.
