"Big with the locals" for "basic" American fare "done right" – and as a "pickup joint for MGH residents" – this Beacon Hill spot is a "lifesaver if you're spending a lot of time at Mass General"; the pub decor "could be updated", but the tabs are reasonable and in line with the "nothing-fancy" vibe.
