i'm currently a worker for heim's. i have been working for them for over a year now and i love what i do. the reason of me writting this review is bcuz i wanted to address some of the things being said here. im reading some reviews talking baout how we do not take care of alterations, which is not true. we have a professional seamstress who has been doing alterations for over 30 yrs. she is great at what she does. of course alterations are extra, what bridal shop do u know that's gonna do alterations for free? but the price is worth it bcuz like i said she does a great job at it n its only a 1 time charge. so if its still not right the first time we wont re-charge what was already altered again. i know some bridal shops that do that. as far as the dirt spots go. we have carpet all over the shop n we require for our customers to take off their shoes b4 they even go in the fitting room to minimize getting the gowns dirty. sometimes the brides make up gets on the gown but we have a special solution to clean it n we DO clean the dresses. the fittings go like this. 1st fitting= making sure the gown fits good from the bodice. 2nd fitting= doing the hem. 3rd fitting= pinning up bustle. n final fitting= showing the bride/bridesmaids how the bustle gets pinned up n making sure everything is at perfection because after this we steam it n put it n a grament bag a day b4 pick up so it can b freshly steamed thats y there's no need for another re-tryal bcuz after the final fitting we do not alter it anymore. but of course if u wanna re-try it we do not tell u u cant. its ur dress so y would we refuse to? i would recommend heim's. we have such a great selection of gowns at very good prices.
