Great Dr's Office!:
Dr. Heidinger is a great primary care doc - he really seems to like getting to know you as a person, and he has a very kind demeanor and listens to me. I have a friend who saw him in Klamath before he moved to Medford and she was sad to see him leave, so that's why I wanted to try him out, and I am glad I did!

Style over Substance:
As I stated to Bruce the head Administrative guy at Ventana Wellness, they seem most interested in STYLE OVER SUBSTANCE.
Nice, colorful waiting area.
Pretty, perky check-in gals
yet..
Professionals who either lack depth of expertise and/or skills.
They seem to want to dazzle you with appearance. When you look under the hood it's just a shallow veneer along with a high turnover rate.
I've been bounced around from one practitioner to another. In a half a dozen visits I've had three practitioners. My latest visit 4/3/2013, the PA deferred to the only Doctor on staff. I was told he's the "new guy" from Denver. An "expert" on the "issues" she was diagnosing me with. He subsequently agreed with her assessment vs set up an appointment and meet with me personally.
My take on it all was that he didn't want to meet with me because I'm covered by Care Oregon. There's not enough money in it for him!
That's what this place seem all about. MARKETING! From the radio celebrity owner; to their own overpriced packaged supplements for SEX, SLEEP, MOOD.
I drive from Ashland to Medford for this experience? Not anymore if I can help it.
I am now in the research phase of locating someone or a clinic that I feel truly cares about me and my well being.
At Ventana all I've ever felt was that I was a means to an end. You know what Dorothy discovered when she pulled away the curtain. It was all Image. That's my conclusion on Ventana Wellness. STYLE OVER SUBSTANCE.
