No better place to dine in my book. Every time my parents come to town, they want to go to HK. I can even take my grandparents as well as young friends to eat before the nightlife starts up. The food is fresh, very tasty and the atmosphere is just right-not too stuffy and not too casual. After a meal, I feel healthy as well as full. Great crowd too, from advanced business men and women to young professionals to an energetic creative crowd. It's also a great place for a date-very comfortable, polished, but hip! I've gone to HK many of times to meet friends for cocktails. The drinks are always well mixed and the bar service tops no other in downtown. I think HK is the only place where I don't have to wait for the bar tender to ask me if I need a drink or to acknowledge my presence-no matter how busy they are! That makes a big difference in my book!! Drink specials and happy hour are great too-$2 from 4-6!

For being a pub, the food is really good . . . although certain items on the menu are outstanding. The crabcakes are better than I've had at several pricey seafood restaurants, and are the best thing on the menu. The steak nachos are also outstanding, although the amount of toppings will vary depending on the chef. Burgers are better than most other places in town. The vegetable platter is highly recommended. Their bartenders aren't good for much beyond drafts and shooters, but they do have Guinness and Blue Moon on tap. Best bet for a dessert is the vanilla milkshake -- but tell 'em to add a double shot of Sambuka white (unfortunately, on my last 2 visits the blender was broken . . . you'd figure they'd have replaced it within a month!).

i listened to the ads on the radio and i couldnt wait to go on a sunday night for the 96x request night. i went there with 3 of my friends and we all requested songs..the drinks were cold, food ok, girls were hot even though its small but it has some nice paintings on the wall. i drove all the way there to hang out drink beer talk to chicks and hear my song...but we were there for a while and they never played our songs! i wont be back anytime soon, i can have more fun at home, or on this side of the water!!
