A "diverse" selection of "fine" artisanal cheeses makes this "funky", "fantastic" Zilker "neighborhood secret" a "paradise" for fromage fanatics who can take their choices home or stay and "relax" over a glass of wine, charcuterie plate or sandwich; it's not cheap, but the staffers are "knowledgeable" and even better, they'll "give you samples"
The French really do know how to eat (duh), and Henri's Cheese and Wine is the latest proof of that. Here on the lunchtime menu, you'll find sandwiches to make you squeal: The "Brie De Meaux" is prepared with house smoked pork, arugula, caramelized onions, and roasted tomato, on an onion roll (yum), while simpler fare is still marvelous -- try the unfussy brie and prosciutto with mustard sandwich, on a baguette. Oui oui indeed.

Henri's opened to incredible fanfare last year in 2012, and though they've rotated cheesemongers, the quality of their board remains excellent: Marcona almonds, fresh regional fruits like Fredericksburg peaches, and generous slices of cheese hard and soft adorn this plate, which is ravaged by the average consumer (meaning, me) in under five minutes.
