I hated the experience at HI-FI. Joe the owner is a nice guy. The guy who worked on my car really screwed up, I had to go more than 2 days to just fix my stereo. The guy who works there drilled a dime size hole in my car when only one small pin size hole had to be drilled to get a wire out but he drilled a big dime sized hole. My stereo wires were not put together properly , they put in the stereo without connecting all the wires more than once (they had to open my stereo more than 5 times) and hence most of the aux and everything else did not work. I went to another car audio guy called sound waves in parsipanny and he fixed all my issues, but it cost me $100 more to fix the mess this guy left behind. The Joe claims the guy who worked on my car was certified but this guy did not bother take customer's input he made me go back and forth to fix a stereo and sensor that they could not put together properly. The guy who works for Joe always was on the cell phone and did not pay attention to his work. I would never go back there even if the OWNER was a nice guy the guy who works for him is Sloppy and bad they took more that $500 from me in just labor but the work that guy did for me was as bad as 3rd grader doing the work and had to go another shop to have the mess fixed. The other shop also opened the stereo and showed me that the wire were put together in a very sloppy way and left loose. They even shot my 2nd lighter socket and when I called Joe to ask him to fix it, he said he would have to charge me extra or have to do some other favor for him to fix it. I paid another mechanic shop to fix it for $25 as the fuse had blown. The guy who works for Joe does not know anything or does not care to do a proper work without damaging the car of the customer.I would never go back there!!!

I had a problem with my car radio, Everywhere else I checked wanted over 100$ just to look at the radio. Not this place they treated me great and got the job done in less than one hour and only charged me for the part and even made me aware of another problem that was going on with corrosion on the battery cables. All said and done less than 75$. If I have any more problems in the future, I'm calling Hi-Fi Audio.
