Myexperience with Hidden Valley Golf Club was more than the expectations.:
Played Hidden Valley Golf Club in Riverside County on Black Friday and it could not have been a nicer round. The course was not too crowded and the speed of play was perfect.
For a Riverside country club, Hidden Valley is challenging but not nearly as bad as I was expecting. There are some target golf holes, but for the most part I was able to keep it at least in the rough. Conditions were excellent, especially the fairways, compared to prices at other private golf courses in Orange County, Hidden Valley is a steal of a golf value.
The Greens were very fast, very challenging, and in excellent condition, overall, a great day on an excellent course.

This Public Golf Course Plays And Feels Like a Country Club:
If you have never played on the golf course at Hidden Valley, you should give it a shot - no pun intended. It is a tough, but absolutely beautiful track. Even in the heat of summer they keep the course in good shape. The rough was not too thick and the traps well positioned. You can’t beat the views, or the prices, especially when they have the $40 specials.
There are many private golf clubs in and around the Riverside Country and Orange County area, but in my opinion they aren't as well maintained as here at this public golf club. Shooting from the blue tee was my favorite, though the elevated greens were a bit fast. The marshal eased people along if they took too long on a hole. All in all, it took just about four hours.
Afterwards, we ate in the clubhouse. The staff was well trained and the customer service was overall fairly good. The food was excellent. My wife was impressed when we came to a wedding reception here a few weeks later. It was enough to convince me to be a regular here at this golf club.

The Riverside Golf Course That Really Stands Out!:
While on business in Southern California, I wanted to play golf. But, finding a demanding, well-maintained public golf course is not always easy. An associate told me about this Riverside Golf Course, Hidden Valley Golf Club.
We played on a Sunday about mid-morning. The golf course was scenic, and had many elevation changes. And. As we went from hole to hole, I noticed the greens were in great shape. The white tee boxes could have been more level, but no course is perfect. Though the golf course at Hidden Valley Golf Club is not the longest I've played on, but it is challenging, and the view from each of the tees—gorgeous. Exactly what playing golf in the Riverside and Orange County area should be like.
Another thing that impressed me as the customer service. It was busy that morning, but each employee we encountered was friendly, attentive and didn’t appear at all frazzled. Overall, it was a very pleasant four hours. Glad I lugged my clubs along this trip.
