Fraud at best theft at worst:
Hill Street Jewelers USA Inc is a SCAM!! They say their jewelry is certified as new and fine jewelry. And that satisfaction is guaranteed.. and all they are doing is stealing your money! I bought, what I thought was a 10kt gold bracelet with diamonds and rubies. I went to a jewelry within 3 days to check it's authenticity, because I was actually disappointed when I received the item.

It looked nothing like the picture they had of it. When the jeweler examined it, they tested it in front of me and explained what the tests would tell them. The scratch test with the "gold" revealed that in fact, it was not gold. Not even gold plated! The rubies were no more than play gemstones that people place on their clothing. The diamonds.. well, needless to say, were fake. They had their "ACA" certification (which is not truly a company) stating that the "Conclusion: New Finely crafted Jewelry with all genuine Materials as described". It's estimated replacement value was said to be $1,190, when in fact it's not worth more than $10 on a good day. When I called them after I had gotten home to explain to them what I had found out and that I wanted my money back, the supervisor "Joe", got very hostile with me. Calling me a liar and an idiot and who checked the Jewelry out were liars and idiots. He asked me for the name of the place that I had it checked out at and I told him where it was. I had taken it to Helzberg Jewelry. He didn't know who they were and demanded I told him who the person was and that he was going to put a lawsuit against them. He can't because THEY actually sell REAL jewelry!! He then hung up on me. I called back, and he hung up on me again. Then again. I then called back and instead of asking for him specifically, I told the guy that answered the phone to let Joe know that I was going to file a complaint, which I have and get my money back.

Very low quality **BEWARE**MUST READ**:
A buyer premium of 10% is added to the every purchase. When you return the junk they send they charge another 10% for the return. File a claim with your credit card company as "received not as described" to get FULL refund. This method is preferred as it is the truth. I received a ring with the stone that was cracked. Not by shipping either. It is obvious that it was this way when shipped. They are selling sub par items at auction to rid of them. They state in the auction that the items are overstock. "Sell or melt" they say. This is VERY untruthful. The items are ones the stores will not sell due to quality issues. Thus they sell at auction. You can compare the items to ones you find at stores like Kmart or other low quality jewelry outlets. Also, a fake gemological report given with the jewelry purchased. This report they give about the item purchased from them is a general form letter type report. It has nothing to do this the actual item purchase. DO NOT BE FOOLED!! BEWARE!!
